It was a hot end-of-Spring morning when Karin awoke. She threw her blanket off eagerly as she felt herself baking underneath it. She wiped the sweat off her face before stretching and getting changed for school. She walked down to the kitchen and made herself breakfast, eagerly drinking three glasses of milk in an attempt to beat the heat.
Once she finished, she cleaned her dishes and set to making her lunch. Spring green namul, fennel salad, spinach tamagoyaki, and a healthy portion of brown rice; it looked so delicious that she couldn't wait until lunchtime.
